I couldn't believe the scale when I saw it.
Work has been so hectic, with really no evening time for the gym. So the only best way was to eat less...
But didn't I expect would I loose another 1kg to 86 now.
What an achievement! But no celebrations huh... though it's so tempting! Nvm, let the weight lost as a counter to the crave for food!

Lost 1 Over Kg!
Without the gym for 1 week because of work, it becomes scary to look at the weighing machine...
I expected the weight to remain... but when I saw the scale.. it went down by over 1 kg! Woaaa!
I guess cutting on the rice has helped played a part.
This is good news - need to continue loosing 1-2 kg every 2 weeks or so! And now that I'm back in the gym, I'm looking fwd to it!

Big!
Been getting comments from people who just seen my pics & now seeing me in person:
"Wow didnt' know you are so.... huge!"
And from relatives:
"You are much bigger huh?"
Well, luckily they didn't see me a few weeks back!
Need to continue loosing a bit of weight, and just be a bit fitter.

Come to look at it, the exercise & gym does make one feel good...!

Hard To Control Especially When Invited
Yesterday, a friend invited me for dinner. Now, while it's nice to get together, but the thing is when you are invited, you are usually treated... and treated well!
The food was really good, and like I said, I was really treated so much - it was as if I was the only one eating!
And from food to dessert (how could I say no - it would have been impolite, no?).
But somehow I felt full, and couldn't eat as much as usual - is the stomach finally getting smaller? haha (I hope so!).
---
And with work creeping up the past few days, the only way I could think of is to really try to eat less. Still no gym till today. Hopefully tomorrow.

No Donuts Or Durians!
First it was no donuts... sigh, they are always so tempting. Passed a few shops, but had to keep my temptations!
And then next came my favourite - durians! Again, I had to try not to look! (I thought I saw S$2 for a packet - so cheap!)...
Ok, discipline discipline - need to eat right to loose weight and that means less sugar!

First Step Of Eating Less
Ok, first the guilt - had chocolates! I know that doesn't fall in any diet program...
But I've cut on rice - aim to cut 20% of rice intake. For dinner I only had chicken meat. And I must say, hunger came in at night - but managed to stay out of food.
And I actually went swimming. Been a while since I swam, preferring to gym as I thought it will burn more calories that way.
But being Sunday, the gym closes early - so the next best choice was swimming.
It was 10 direct non stop laps - quite an achievement knowing that I haven't been swimming for a while now. Maybe the stamina from the gym helped.

Why I'm Creating This Blog
I've always hovered around the weight of 78-80kg since 1/ 19 years old. In 2005, I somehow did a miracle of loosing weight to a rather light 70-72kg! (my thinnest ever since like 13 years old).
78kg is the ideal weight for me as my BMI will be in between the zone - though on the higher end of that zone. But it's fine as I think the weight suites me.
However, in the past 12 months or so, I've been putting on a lot of weight - mainly due to the stress from work. I remember the scale going from 78 to 80 then 82/84 and even to a high 90kg... and now at 88kg!
That is like 10kg in the past 1 year. I still look ok I guess, though many have commented on my 'sudden' weight gain.
So, I know that I have to do something. It's been a battle and I don't want to go alone. That's why I'm starting this blog to track my progress as I start my weigh loss program back to my 'ideal' weight - in between 78-80kg.
I'm not following any specific formula, but just to do more exercise and eat healthier (which is really tough as I like good food!).
Throughout I'll share what I'm doing in terms of exercise and food intake.
Let's start the journey...
